New Characters adds additional depth to the Voyages of Marco Polo board game. Four new characters are included: Khan Arghun, Altan Ord, Gunj Kokochin and Fratre Nicolao. Each of these has special abilities that add exciting twists to the game.
Gift tokens are also included which players can draw from to gain resources, money and other benefits.
The mini expansion is brand new and contains 4 new characters, 15 gift tokens, a city bonus marker, 4 new contracts and a special token for Fratre Nicolao. The English and German rules are included inside the shrink wrapping.
