Monastery Boards is a brilliant expansion that adds a twist to the basic gameplay of Castles of Burgundy.
There are 3 monasteries that form a triangle on each of the new game boards. When players fill in the hexes in a direct line between two of them, they earn 5 VPs. The first player who manages to connect all three of their monasteries like this wins an additional bonus of 5-7 VPs!
The expansion is brand new and contains 4 new double-sided game boards that are numbered 13a to 13h. The English and German rules are included inside the shrink wrapping.
