Caravans is the first expansion for Marco Polo II: In the Service of the Khan. Four new characters are included: Piedro Tartarino, Vidal Badoer, Donata Badoer and Tebaldo Visconti da Piacenza. Each character has special abilities that add exciting new gameplay elements.
In addition, players can make use of the compelling new trade caravans. These are loaded with goods, with the ability to choose from three options once a special mission is completed. Players can either upgrade the goods, double them or gain victory points.
We played with this mini expansion as soon as it was released and feel that it adds some brilliant new elements to Marco Polo II, which was already a firm favourite of ours!
