Windroses I features tiles depicting a windrose compass. The orange full rose acts as the new starting tile and defines the four quarters: SW, SE, NW and NE. It is an alternative version to the Windroses II mini expansion.
If a player draws one of the four tiles with a quarter windrose and places it in the correct section, they immediately score bonus points.
The mini expansion is brand new and contains 6 landscape tiles. The printed English rules are included. The original Carcassonne artwork is featured, playable with both the new and original versions of the base game.
